Webinars: 22 Things You Should Know

Webinars are one of the highest converting & most effective marketing techniques that you can implement in your business.

There are hundreds of amazing webinar softwares that have very different features, pricing & designs.

There are also some great super in-depth value packed training that teach online marketers how to effectively write persuasive webinars.

Here’s what  you need to know about how and when to use Webinars:

Can I Be Seen On A Webinar?

It depends on a couple of factors but generally – no.

If you allow the Webinar Software to have access to your microphone and camera, that means that you are allowed to use that chosen hardware if a webinar host chooses to select some people from the audience and put them “on stage”. Most webinars don’t do this.

The most common webinars that you’re always seen on are generally online educational classes.

With that being said, you’ll know that you’re being seen because a prompt of your camera comes up on your screen as well!

Webinars can be either live or evergreen.

For live webinars, the host chooses a particular time/date and then uses the particular webinar application to go live at that specific time.

Generally, the host has a pre-planned goal or slideshow that they’re going to be showing to teach or sell on the webinar.

When it comes to evergreen webinars, the host records the webinar offline similar to how people create youtube videos and THEN upload it into some cloud hosting software and attaches it to their favorite Webinar Hosting Software.

Then the host create a particular URL with the hosted webinar that they can send to their audience so they can sign-up and watch.
